GA4 treats every measurable interaction as an event. Some events are collected automatically (page_view, session_start, scroll), while others require custom configuration or Google Tag Manager tags. Without these events properly firing, GA4 shows traffic data but not conversion data, making it impossible to measure CPL or prove that SEO investment is generating leads.
